The cutest parade goers in town!
This year's Maids of Jubilee parade had the theme of "Books on The Big Screen." Their floats were beautiful, the weather was perfect, and the crowd was huge and happy.
My favorite float of the night - Titanic!
Ironic that a sinking ship was on a "float."

Hillcrest High School from Evergreen - The Pride of Conecuh County, made the trip down to Fairhope to wow us with their awesome band. I got to speak with some of the band members before the parade, and they were such a nice group of kids.
This cute couple was dressed for the Ball, and when the beautiful young lady seemed chilly, her gallant Southern Gentleman offered her his coat. He was raised right.
Lucky girl.
And this stunning Ball Gown looked amazing with the matching velvet and satin lined cape.
Proper formal winter outer wear is difficult to find around here. This Belle of the Ball was actually visiting from California.
With this outfit, we know she's a Southern Belle at heart!
The Willie Wonka float threw the most moon pies, so they were a crowd favorite.
I, myself, ended the night at home with a microwaved moon pie.
The end to another perfect night of Mardi Gras.
Thanks for the night of fun, Maids of Jubilee!

Ya'll sure know how to parade down there. Our parades are boring.
Looks like fun!
